I agree. My quilting buddy is in Ottawa and I dont have a soul in my life to share my passion, so I come here and whether I type or just read, I feel you guys are all my friends :) Just having my dear little mother who goes to bed at 8pm, this is where I come to be with "my people" Thanks for that
You are mistaken when you say you have no one to share your passion for quilting with...WE are ALL here to share with you, just a click of a keyboard away. You are not alone at all, my friend.

Wildyard, you said it all......and amen to all of it. Even though I've only met 3 members of this board and only spent minutes with them, I feel like I "know" so many on the board. I don't do a lot of posting....some....I rarely PM....
but I'm reading everything!!! I feel like I'm part of an awesome, warm, welcoming group of friends....thanks to all! I've learned so much from this board......

I have made some great friends on this board. I look forward to hearing from them or writing them to share. The friendships always outshine the negativity that comes around the board from time to time. Thank you to all of my quilt friends!
