wildyard---one good comment, many friends later.

CindynNY: my papa used to say, "without money, we are not poor, only when you think poor. Remember your smile is worth more than money can buy." Just smile Cindy and keep on learning with friends at this site, we care, nurture, share our bits and pieces, with a smile. No ugly on this site.

Well put! Thanks for giving words to the feelings so many of us have about this great site - or, I should say, the wonderful people who make up this site.

Knowing I can cry if I want too, helps me feel so loved here on this quilting board. I am thankful we have each other to bond with, and find strength from.. A rough road has gone on in my own life, and I drew from the comfort of others as I was showered on with love, and compassion.

You are mistaken when you say you have no one to share your passion for quilting with...WE are ALL here to share with you, just a click of a keyboard away. You are not alone at all, my friend.[/quote]

    Thank u so much, I appreciate that....a lot :)

Your answer is so true. If you have to have an addiction, I think this a is pretty healthy addiction. Wouldn't it be wonderful if all addictions were so positive? I'm glad we have this wonderful circle of men and women to do our creating with.

I feel so blessed to have found this board when I really needed it. I had a knee replacement last October and was doing fine until March, it became infected. On May 10th they took it out and I had no knee. They put in some spacers with antibiotics in and a pic-line in my arm. I had to go to the hospital every day (7 days a week) for 41 days for an infusion of antibiotics. I wasn't allowed to do anything but sit in my wheelchair until I got my new replacement on Aug. 19th. Now I am finally using my walker and getting around some. Can finally do some sewing again.
During this time this board has been a real blessing to me. If I was feeling down, I could come on here and someone would always make me smile. Thank you everyone, you have all been my family during this time, and will be for a very long time. I can't tell you how much I've learned too. I am a fairly new quilter. God bless you all.
Sorry this is so lengthy, but I just had to add my 2 cents.
