I usually have 3 projects going - and get those three peiced - then FMQ and onto the next set - always have sveral in my mind but that way - if, for example, I can;'t handle pink on a paticular day - then the brown one gets worked on
but always finish those 3 before I start something else - works for me !

Oh, that would spoil the surprise you get when you look thru your stuff and find the ones you forgot about.

Extravagant - maybe - but I wanted a list in writing that I COULD SEEEEE so maybe - just maybe - it'll help me STOP accumulating more new projects and new fabric of any kind.

    I don't know if it'll work - whatcha think?
Anyone else ever tried making a LIST to keep track of ALL the projects and collections they have *hidden away* in their HOUSE?
Any other suggestions for gettting things DONE!!!?????
    Anyone ever BLOG about it?
I have listed all my butterick, mccalls, & simplicity patterns by # and a brief discription (dress, pants etc & sizes)

After I finish a project I have a general tidy up, and see what I've forgotten at the back of the cupboard where I keep my stash. But occasionally I go through the other shelves where the UFOs hang out. Nice surprise recently, I found a six block applique quilt which only needed binding - this will be the perfect gift for anew baby in the family. Job done -!

I have a list of my UFO's but it doesn't seem to inspire me to work on them. The problem is that most of them are tops that need to be quilted. I usually get stalled out with the quilting. I have been hand quilting and I am WAY behind, I need to suck it up and decide to pay for someone to quilt them for me so I can get them finished and off my UFO list.
