Some are never finished. I have friends that have quilt tops there grandmothers never finished.

I cann't really give a time. Just so long as I still work on it I'm fine with that. I usually only quilt about 2-4 hours per week.

I hand pieced a king in two months the top was done, I'm waiting for my mother to quilt it, it's been 2 years in the making as of now.

It takes me anywhere from a year to months depending on the size and my health witch has been real bad as of late so I sew when I can now. :D
