Wowzers, great job, I wouldn't have attempted a double wedding ring for my first attempt. You go girl. Your bargello will be fantastic.

You are ambitious...your runner is wonderful. I started quilting in 2011 and have yet to make a double wedding ring or a bargello. Good luck and don't forget to post photos.

Beautiful job on the DWR!! It's on my bucket list but haven't tried it yet. As to the bargello--I have made one of those from directions found online. It was from a fabric company and now I don't remember but it started with W. I wondered at the time--the directions said to always start stitching the strips at the same end. Figured I'd end up with a curve and I sure did! Toward the end of the big strip there is a definite curve. Otherwise the directions are very good. Just alternate the direction you are stitching and it will come out well. Bargellos are fun and create some really pretty designs.

You could also go to youtube on 'how to make a bargello'. I'm sure some smart person has posted something.

I have made that Scrappy Bargello several times with Jelly Rolls. It always makes a beautiful quilt, and it's very easy.

This is one of my favorite you tube vids for bargello (by Angela Walters) she makes it look easy:

    Your DWR is fabulous!

for some reason, I think the F&P link isn't working, but it's easy to find on YouTube
