Or, how many have you actually met, taken a class with, had dinner with, or entertained?
I am very grateful for my years of exposure to the Houston International Quilt Festival, for serving as the program chair for the large Fort Texas guild, for owning a large shop that many guild speakers visited, and for the large number of wonderful, well known quilters from Texas in general that I met over the years.

Judy Martin, Terry Atkinson, Sherry Falls, Alex Anderson, Eleanor Burns, Fons and Porter, Camille Roskelley, Elizabeth Hartman, John Q. Adams, Darlene Zimmerman, M'Liss Rae Hawley, Carol Doak, Ami Simms, Denyse Schmidt, Lynette Jensen, Judy Laquidara, Karen Combs, Debbie Mumm, Debbie Cafrey, Sandy Bonsib, Mary Hickey, Debbie Bowles, Jean Wells, Valori Wells, Heather Mulder Peterson, Kim Schaefer, Nancy J. Martin, Bethany Reynolds, Maxine Rosenthal, Tula Pink. I know more, but I have other things to get to tonight! I was supposed to take a class with Eleanor Burns at Quilt Expo in Madison, WI, but it was over-booked and I got bumped. But I did see her at a presentation on stage and in the vendor area when she was signing things.
