I work on the computer for a while, move the chair over to the sewing machine, sew for a while, then move back to the computer. (I'm a freelance graphic designer and work from home). But then in front of the TV at night, I'm sewing on a binding, or working on a locker hook rug. Wow, maybe I have a problem... :)

SInce I've been a member I have done way more sewing than before. Now, if I didn't spend as much time here - the quilting world would be my oyster. lol

My sewing is sporadic. It depends on the mood, how tired my brain is, what chores need to be done, what's on TV in the evening, whether DH is home or not.....but I try to get into sewing mode every week.

I sew every week end as long as I can both days. Don't get to sew on weekdays since I work full time. Can't wait until I retire---only 3 years!

I work a 40 hour a week job, plus commute and 3 boys under 9....I don't have a lot of time. I try to sew every Saturday and Sunday while doing laundry. I tend to sew more in the summer than the winter, I do not know why. Many of my friends are backwards from me as they garden and such and I don't. But I want my machine out every weekend.

I try to keep one project in both piecing stage and quilting stage. I hand quilt, so it takes me forever. I can spend my weekends with my boys and still piece, which is good. But I can curl up on the couch with hubby and hand quilt for an hour or two each night...very relaxing. I want to hurry up and piece my current project so I can get it to the quilting stage....I hate only working one stage.....maybe by summer I'll be ready to throw it in the frame.

Sometimes i sew a lot and other days not at all. just depends on my schedule -next week i won't get any sewing in because i'm visiting my DS and DIL in Texas. i'll be raring to get back to it when i get home-after i undo the damage my DH will create while i'm gone!

I sew about five hours a day some days like Sundays 7 hours
I don't work and I'm pretty much home bound due to my bad health, so quilting is my life style and I spend as much time as I can doing that.

I do sew everyday! I couldn't imagine not sewing everyday - even if it's just for an hour or so :)
