How many machines do you have?

For decades I had a 1971 Kenmore and a Singer FW 221 that my mother bought for me when I was 15 so I could learn to sew on my own machine. Then a couple years ago I decided to switch from cross-stitching when my eyes went bad, back to sewing because I wanted to learn to quilt. Since then, I bought 3 vintage Singers on Craigslist: 401A in a cabinet, which I want to sell...no room for it, a Singer 301A, which I quilt on every day, and a FW 221 which I am refurbishing for one of my grandchildren. I also have two FW's that my neighbors gave to me when they heard that I wanted to have a FW for each of my grandchildren. I now have FW's for all my grandkids and the two oldest are learning to sew on them now. The other two are too young still. I would like to have a new machine that helps me with quilting large quilts, but the budget and space won't allow for it yet. I would love to have a HQ Sweet Sixteen, but cannot convince my DH that it would be a good investment. Ten or so t-shirt quilts would almost pay for a nice used one....maybe someday...

I have WAY TOO MANY. I think at last count I have 38. We started out collecting them and then we got carried away. I would love to sell some of them but who knows how that will come about LOL. Here is my oldest one. It is an 1852 Grover and Baker treadle. It needs to be cleaned up some but the cabinet is gorgeous.

As far as bragging or complaining? I can't say either of these are true but I do need to get rid of several of them. LOL

Own:
2 - Barudan 15 needle commercial embroidery machines
1 - Tajima 15 needle commercial embroidery machine
(These 3 pay the bills here and allow us to eat.)
Janome 6600 (sold 6500 to get this one)
Juki TL98E (makes great military flags which also pay the bills)
Janome 1200D serger (sold Babylock Imagine to get this - love it!)
Sailrite LS1 walking foot machine for heavy canvas work
HQ16 on a frame which I may find time to use when I retire.....
shopping for:
small travel machine since neither DIL sews and my sons need clothing repairs
would like:
a Featherweight for eye candy on my shelf
lusting after:
Pfaff Performance 5.0 that I saw last week - trying to justify the $$ and where would I put it?

I have 6 machine. 3 Husqvarna-viva-freesia--Victoria. And 2 singer machines in cabinets-#1 not sure of the name-#2 singer touch & sew model 600. And a 1924 singer machine, with knee control for it. That's all but still keep looking, for something.

Yep, I have a bunch. I LOVE sewing and embroidery machines and I've owned a lot. I sell them and move up, or in a different direction.
I have 3 Juki's - the 98 strongest machine you could want, F-600, and a tol serger - love them all
2 Necchi's - older models
Singer 201 - this has the most beautiful straight stitch
Singer 301, to take to class - she is beautiful
Viking SE - will probably sell soon as I also have the Babylock 10 needle embroidery machine
Janome Horizon 7700 - my main machine right now
And last but not least, my A-1 22" longarm
I love them all.

I have 4 (listed in my siggie below). I like the old ones because I can work on them myself (DH does the electrical stuff). I've been sewing for a looooooong time, and quilting for 30 years. The 401A was my first machine, given to me by my parents when I graduated from high school in 1981. It's been my constant companion ever since.

Janome 12000 which does embroidery, sewing, I use for free motion and does lots of things that I haven't used yet.
Janome 3160 for classes
Janome - a simple machine I bought to see if sewing was for me...not sure of the number and a friend is using it right now
I would love to have a feather weight!!!!!!!
