Default How many mug rugs are too much?

I was going through all my secret pal, guild, and sew groups presents I received this last Christmas. I have 18 mug rugs! They are all cute and well made but I don't even use a coaster. I'm glad I decided not to make mug rugs for sewing friends this last year. LOL

I would get one of those mini quilt hangers and have an ever changing display! Here's one on sale today only

I was also thinking of using some of my mugrugs as mini wall hangings. Some are way too lovely to use but to hang up for everyone to see would be great.

I don't have any, but I'd like one or two! Guess I should make a couple

maybe donate to a nursing home, or a preschool. the kids in preschool have cookie time and could use them.

One of my quilting buddies used the mug rug I gave her for Christmas to cover the top of a flat trunk and liked the idea so much, she decided to make one for each season. Pick a flat surface and keep changing them. Or give them to a nursing home or preschool. froggyintexas

I have a fair number of orphaned blocks and making mug rugs from them! After I flood family, I'll move to friends, neighbors and co-workers. They'll all be sick of me coming with little 'things' in my hands lol.

You could start using a coaster. I never used to use a coaster either until I started making mug rugs. It's really nice to have something pretty under your mug. Even my friends that I've given them too starting using them and love them.
