I like to do paper piecing but, I do Freezer paper piecing and have found it to be a lot simpler. No pulling out paper when you're done.

I too don't understand why you don't have to pull the paper off?

Over at the Connecting Threads site, the technique of the month is Paper Foundation Piecing. There is an introductory tutorial up and more will be up each week this month. You can join the discussion group and ask questions too.

    Here's another one..
    www.twiddletails.com/store/index.php?main_page=html

You don't sew through the paper, you sew alongside a folded edge of the fp and then iron it over the piece you just sewed. The tute shows it better than I can explain it here. Once you try it, I'm sure you'll love it!!

I just looked at the one above this post ( the purple and paisley one) and that looks like a nice method however, it isn't the method I use and if you think about it, suppose you were doing a pineapple block with resulting 1/4 or 1/2 inch pieces. Would you want to cut all that freezer paper? Not me. I like the single sheet method and the massive amount of time it saves.

My Avatar is the first FPP I ever did.
