I have a JoAnn's and a LQS with 1 mile. 8 more LSQs within 15 miles. So I have lots of choices. How far have I traveled for Quilt supplies? Western Oregon to Antler Oklahoma - don't know the mileage. If you get near Antler, be sure to stop in at Betsy's. Unfortunatly she does not have a website or e-mail. She had great stuff there.

Not complaining, but there are way to many here, between the 4 Joanns, walmarts, ben franklins fabric, and LQS I could pass 20 different places to spend my money every day while at work. Probably why I work 2 jobs and still am broke. LOL

There are 6 LQS within 20 miles or so of our house, plus a Hobby Lobby and Joann. I think our area is blessed with lots of quilters and quilt shops!

I'm in Afghanistan so my LQS is everyone with a sale, clearance or cheap fabric on the net. Fabric.com, Connecting Threads and Keepsake Quilting are my top three but I am known by name at a few smaller shops. lol.

Walmart cancelled the fabric department here after forcing the three small family owned fabric shops out of business.
There is no source for fabric within fifty miles of this small town.
