We only have one exclusive quilt store in our area along with Joann's and Hobby Lobby and Hancocks that sells fabric and some quilting supplies. The quilt shop we have is nice, but the people who work there aren't very friendly. I finally found a girl the other day in there that would give me the time of day and seem enthusiastic about what I was trying to do and direct me in the right direction. It's like they don't care if you come in there or not and I don't very much for that very reason.

Joann's is about 8 miles south from me.
There's a fairly good LQS about 5 miles east of me and another LQS, not as large, about 8 miles the other direction.
I wish they were in the same general direction then I could visit all three on the same day.
Hancocks closed about 6 yrs ago. I liked them best.

    Within a half hour's drive I have 8 plus a Walmart, Joann's Hancock's and a Michael's. Within an hour's drive I probably have about 25.

I have one about 6 blocks from me. The others are 20 to 40 miles away.

We only have one in our town....the other two are about 20 miles away. I'm going nuts over this.
