Yep! Several is a great way to put it. Sometimes when I am cleaning my sewing room I find projects that I started, and I don't even remember it!

I never keep track of how many, Just have pizza boxes of things I am working on. Work on one for a while until I get tired of it, then put it on the shelf and pull another. Have things in various stages of done. Several that I am working on borders, several on blocks, several in fabric selection stage and a pile of "want to do" quilt sketches.

I decided three months ago to get all the UFO's, also called WIPs done before starting on anything else. I have done that and now am going to start on a kit I bought at the Dallas quilt show in March and I promise--Scout's honor--not to start another one until it is done and has a label on it! froggyintexas

really you guys? I only work one at a time.... I buy for the next "few", but only work one at a time until it's finished. Ehhhh, could be because I don't have a sewing space. Just the kitchen or living room.... oh yeah... and my house only has ONE closet!!!

I just finished hand quilting a queen size..bound & washed.
I most always have one I'm quilting on and then I'm piecing by machine in the mornings (all day if winter. I just finished making new lined kitchen curtains; embrodiered a set of tea towels and made a lined apron for a gift. Just
started quilting another bed quilt this evening. Yeah..I have probaby 10 basted in waiting to be quilted...another 6
or 8 tops ready to baste in, and another 6 or 8 in totes..
nothing started yet on those, but I have fabric, backing,
pattern etc. all layed aside. I have another 5 or 6 in my
mind, but being 75 yrs old I have promised myself I won't
pull fabrics out for anymore until most of these are done.
Actually it supresses the 'creative juices' but the time has
come for me to 'get real'. I would be unhappy if I didn't have something going.

I seem to be much better at piecing and assembling quilt tops than I am at getting them finished. I have a TON of unfinished quilt tops. I keep saying I am going to hop to it and get some done but so far, not much follow through. I have to learn to do more free motion quilting as I can't afford to have them all done by a long arm quilter and it's much to slow to hand quilt them.
