Too many to count. Recipient of quilts from two grandmothers and a mother in law, and then I'm a very active quilter and now give away most of the ones I make.

I came home from work the other day and my DH had used those vacuum seal bags and squashed all my quilts so there would be more closet space! He swears it won't hurt them but they look like a wrinkled mess!

It's a good thing we'll be married 40years in Feb or I might consider retraining a new one (LOL)!!!

I have made 52 bed quilts, 9 of which are not quite completed. Some of them have been gifts for family and friends, others I have kept for myself.
I have a spare bedroom that I keep my quilts spread upon the bed to prevent folding, and them cover them all with a bed spread. I do have three hanging on walls which I change with the seasons.

Probably close to 30 at the present time. I thought I was keeping close tabs on quilts, taking pictures, etc., but I have let some go before I could get pictures.

I have only finished 1 quilt for me. Ive made many baby quilts, but nothing that has stayed with me. I have far too many UFO's.

I do change the ones around on the stand and in the living room, although the bed ones stay the same. I cannot begin to count the ones I have given away as gifts but it must be in the region of 30 over the years.
How many have you in your home?
What a cool avatar, do you have the pattern?

My granddaughter counted mine on some bet, last year, and there were 37, but I've added a few more this year. That also doesn't count what we have at our summer cabin, probably about 15. I really think I should start giving them away, but it scares me on how someone else would take care of my quilts.

Wow would you be willing to post some pics of your antique quilts? I bet I'm not the only one here who would love to see them.
