I currently have 7:janome 9000(14 yrs),janome6600-got it last year and is at the vacation home,Viking serger--all of these i use a lot. i just got a Featherweight last month-haven't cleaned and oiled it yet, a Singer treadle that was my great aunts-needs a belt, a Kenmore that my DH got me for Christmas in 1983 which i keep for a backup, and the machine i learned to sew on-my moms pink Atlas. it's in the basement and i have no idea if it even works. one of these days i'll clean it up and see if it works.

I have one machine: a Janome.
I also have an old Singer that has to be serviced, but I'm spending enough on fabric at this point to want to think about the cost of servicing the Singer. Besides, the service guy and I had some "words" and I'm hesitant to face him again.

I have a Pfaff 1475 (an old work horse), a Pfaff 4570, a Brother Disney embroidery machine and a Pfaff serger. I love them all.

Okay I will fess up I don't count them. But right now I will try , I have a treadle that the repairman said it came from Germany in 1846 to 1868. It needed a belt and running great. Then I have a 360 pfaff, a Plus One Viking , A diamond (set up and use most of time), a featherweight (in a cabinet Grandma had made just for a featherweight)(take to classes), 4 singers one a slant(use to teach people on),a Juki serger 644(tee shirts) and elna cover stitch(baby clothes) , a Lily and white. I've given away over 50 machines to those in need in the lower parts of town. I pick up cheap machine repair if I can and give them to others. I give free classes on making clothes at church as my way of giving back. So I don't feel guilty.

I use a Bernina and a Featherweight frequently. Kenmore is a dust catcher.

I have only one, this is the third machine I've owned in the 45 years I've been sewing. My current New Home I've had since the 70's and is on it's last leg. I want to get serious about quilting but I'll have to buy a new machine before I do that and I'm still doing research before I purchase one.
