i have 12 grandkids, some are step grands, most are not. they are from 21 down to 5. raising one of them she is 17 and wants to learn to sew. so she will learn on the FW and my 1951 singer 403 special. we both do some hand sewing. me on piecing and quilting and her on making costumes for different things like Ren Faires and Pow-Wows. i home schooled her and we have been everywhere. she has been a blessing to me.

SewExtreme...10 grandchildren - how many children? You're right, they are such fun. I have 4 great-grandchildren. We are not surprised by grandmothers who quilt, but I was delighted by so many young/younger (which includes almost everyone:-) quilters as evidenced by members on this board.

I have 5, 1 boy and 4 girls. They are a great joy! The 2 oldest girls have quilted with me. {14 and 9} I get to watch one of my 2 yr old DGDs weekdays while mommy and daddy work. We had so much fun this past friday taking her to the fair.
