How many of you actually have sewing studio/room
#152
I have a small room with a big closet. Love being able to close the door on my messiness. DH is working on plans for a cutting table and shelves. I have to go to the kitchen island to do my cutting. Lots of steps back and forth from sewing room to kitchen.

I have a room in our basement that also houses washer and dryer. I can get a load of laundry done while I am sewing. It is not a decorator showcase, but it is mine. I can walk away and leave the thread and scraps where no one can see them.

I am in the lower level of the house. We had a family room down there. I gave away all the funiture, set up my mega quilter and frame, and machine for me and my GD now it's Nana's room, and family comes to visit.

I have a little 7' x9' "bedroom" that has a closet that is really a stair to the attic. I hang the ironing boards on the wall and use shelves to hold fabic. It is right off the kitchen and is used as a hallway when I'm not blocking the passage. I count myself very lucky to have it!

I do ,it's a small den. My machine is in front of an east window. I ahve a rack. The kind you would have in a garage or utility room. It's stainless steele, has five shelves, each will hold 450 pounds. I will give them all they can handle.
