I had one and got a Mother in law....so I now have a little tiny corner in the bedroom and I sew anywhere I can but still get to sew and for me I would do that anywhere anytime I could!

I have my own separate room. It was a requirement with the move to a smaller house. I am still unpacking and it's been nearly 3 months.

I have a quilting barn.Remodeled and added on to it. One small area for the office part and can sit and do handwork with while watching tv (8x12 space) and the big room 16 X 24 where I have my sewing machines and tables and a 10X 6 with bathroom and kitchenette area. I go and turn on my music and work to my to my hearts content when I can.

My sewing "room" is my basement, which is a full 2 bedroom apartment. Everything I need is downstairs and I spend a lot of time there. Many projects in various stages of completing. My dream of having a place all my own was realized when I bought this house. I really bought it for the basement.

We have a 2 bdrm apartment, so my sewing room is also my guest room. When we have overnight guests, the cutting table comes down and an air mattress hits the floor. I have a Pfaff GQ1200 in our bedroom...
What I would really like to have happen, if we have to stay here, is for the owner's son to move out of the tiny apartment upstairs so I can take it over!! LOL

I have a room that I use for sewing - quilting - and bill paying. It has a large walk-in closet (for my stash), and room for my Hobby Quilter.

I put the sewing machine and cutting boards on my desk.

I do but it is my Florida room redesignated! Gets too cold out there for winter sewing so have to move the basics inside when it gets so cold. It is lovely in summer though and plenty of space.
