We moved here 2 years ago and a sewing area/room was a must. Happily I got it. The office space is mine (18 x 12). I love it. A window and an outside door so plenty of light with bird feeders outside. I'm very lucky. Of course it is crammed with stuff and not usually very tidy. My design wall is 2 8x4ft insulation boards covered in fleece which are nailed to the wall.

I do! Back corner bedroom, not nearly big enough, but it's all mine & I love it! Nice to have a room, any size, to be able to walk out & just leave everything out & ready to pick up where you left off, when you return once again! We are empty nesters, so that helps! ....

I actually have two. They are small bedrooms. I use one for the sewing table and pressing cabinet, fabric storage in the closet, a bookcase and a little tv.
The other room is for my cutting table, ironing board, Featherweight and Bernina cases, a rolling cart for classes, and stuff like that.

About 2 months ago my darling husband suggested that since I had so much stuff I move out of my sewing room and take over our living room. It is already packed to the gills!

Anna, that room is so beautiful!!
I have one- it's the largest spare bedroom with a huge closet. Of course it's stuffed! Was just in there and I have to watch where I walk. Need to clean it! :D
My kiddos are grown up and out of the nest.

I was in progress of converting a 3rd bedroom, until my nephew needed a place to stay....As soon as he moves, then I will have a room dedicated for my sewing, plus it will need to serve as a guest room...Right now my cutting table, machine/table, ironing board, ect., is all in my bedroom...Trying to navigate is quite challenging at times...lol

    I don't, sure wish I did.

I think I have some in every room of my house except the bathroom!

I do now. After our daughters married, I took over one of the bedrooms for my sewing room. Not big enough for a LA, but I enjoy FMQ, STD, and hand quilting...so I'm contented :D

I share with the guest bed, I would like to get a wall bed that folds up when it's not in use so I could have more room to spread out. Lately I've been dragging my sewing machine downstairs to the kitchen table though because my kids (3 and 6) get into everything when I'm in my sewing room but if I'm at the kitchen table they go play in their own rooms... go figure!
