How many of you keep track of your quilts?
#83
I started quilting about 45 years ago when I either helped or made quilts for my children and originally did not label my quilts. I also did not take pictures of them. Several years later I learned from an artist that you should always sign and date anything you do, which I did with everything but probably not my quilts. About 5-6 years ago I started keeping a picture of my quilts but have never put any additional information with them - you have all made me think about that part and think I will go back and do the best I can. Thanks for sharing and I HOPE ALL OF YOU AT LEAST TAKE PICTURES OF EACH QUILT YOU MAKE. Believe me - in the future you will wish you had. It also shows how much your quilting abilities have grown. Onward & Upward - we learning something new every day.

Thank you so much for sharing - all of you - I appreciate all the wonderful ideas here. I am a beginner quilter so it will be fun to start keeping pictures with this quilt. I just wish that I had pictures of all the other things I have made/embellished through the years.
