Half I send out for quilting, a few I hand quilt, and then top stitch, shadow or ITD.

don't own my quilting set up, merely always quilt by hand this is the best fun bit and relaxing too,and unless very large can be done anywhere instead of crouched over a machine out of the way.

    Thanks.
I cannot afford to send quilts out and it really depends on my time and the mood I am in when I do one. The last one took me 3 weeks from start to finish and it was QAYG method which is the easiest for me at the moment. I do not know any one around me who would do it next for nothing and I cannot ask my friends to do it for me.

I tie almost all my quilts. I hand quilt small wall hangings and many years ago I hand quilted a few bed size quilts. I don't like the look of machine quilting.
