I hand quilt my own quilts, otherwise I would not feel it is 'my' quilt. And machine quilting does not go with the quilts I make. That said, I have to admit I just machine quilted a throw because of time limitations. But I did it, not someone else.

I do my own, but I did a trade with Charisma. She did 2 king size quilts and I made her 300+ yo-yo's. I can only hope to be 1/2 as good as her. I will do all mine now because of the buget.

So glad to hear it's not just me! I had a friend quilt one I made and I would never let someone else do it again... I felt like it wasn't mine anymore. Of course it was beautiful though, she does excellent work BUT still...

I have never sent one out. I use to hand quilt, but it started hurting my hands and now I machine quilt. I love it. I love making designs to free motion all over my quilts. The more intricate I can get with my quilting the happier I am. I love making texture on my quilts. I love sitting down with a copy of the quilt and planning the quilting. Ahhhh, I guess I love everything about quilting. Even binding, cause that means I can start another one

I quilt my own on my LA, and I have been quilting for a lady that brings me her quilts. I quilt for mostly family right now, hubby wants me to start quilting for the public. so I guess i will be quilting for others soon. I just got the Crown jewel with the quiltmotion, I do love it.

Turn around depends on the quilt and life. I usually get my quilts out in about 1 week but always tell everyone 2weeks, just incase life happens.

I do my own. I used to quilt on my janome 6600 but recently acquired a used Nolting 16" hobby quilter. I was tired of sending things out to be done and it taking 4 to 6 months to get them back. I love doing my own!!
