I LOVE this pattern http://www.lenzula.com/pattern/neuschwanstein.php, but it just isn't in the budget right now....maybe one day! Thanks for the link!

    Hugs
You can still download the pattern. That lady has whole wall hangings that are paper-pieced.

The Neuschwannstein pattern is free. And if you make it up, post the pic at her site! She'll love it.

Ok, so today I tried to paper piece.....ended up cutting off the piece I had just sewn on when I trimed the seam to a 1/4". So I thought I'll sew that seam again and you guessed it....I cut the blasted thing off again. I have a mental block when it comes to paper piecing. It's not like I didn't have the directions in front of me either.

I couldn't find it anywhere on her site for free. Her website has a link to where I can buy it for about $15.

I enjoy doing paper piecing and thought maybe some of you guys would like to see some of the greeting cards I have made with paper piecing.
I frame the sewn pictures in cut out frames and usually use card index stock for the paper but I have used scrapbook papers too or have used homemade paper but that is a lot of work and I usually make the cards on the stir of the moment.

A cheer up card, I got the card idea from an automated e-mail card someone had sent me.

Here are a few more. I like to embellish the paper piecing with embrodery. On the cuppa card I stitched some steam coming out of the cup, but it didn't show up. But the flower does show up on the Valentines.

This was an invitation for Thanksgiving last year. I glued some dried herbs for the turkey bait

I also use this heart design for birthdays, etc.

I love to make this little Sunbonnet Sue, this one has some dried wild flowers.

I have a few more examples. The Friendship star is just a reminder to me to be more careful wtih sewing. LOL I use a card making program and print them before cutting out the frame.. I got one of those square paper punches at Joanns or sometimes I cut out the openings with an Xacto knife.

The spool of thread is also very easy to make.
