I have a 12" block that I want to set on point and I am not sure how to measure and cut the triangle to use on the sides. Can anyone help me?. Thanks for any help.

there is a formula to use when cutting the triangles but unfortunately I do not remember what it is. So I took a 12 1/2 unfinished block and just measured it and I do beleive if you cut it 9 1/2 in square, then cut diagonally in half (you will need two of these) you will end up with the right size. Good Luck Marge
