I have been cutting strips for a scrappy (just random not specific dark and then light) court house steps quilt. I sewed a few already (10) 12 inch blocks, but it seems whenever I pull out a strip from my bag it matches the one I have already sewn. So tonight I took a bunch of used dryer sheets and threw the lot in the dryer and set it for a ten minute tumble. Hopefully, this will have done the trick at mixing them up really well. I tried pulling a few from the top and they were all different so that is a good sign.
