I would try it and see - I have heard their customer service is great. I've never had problems with their thread, though it is kind of linty!

Get a bunch and use extra for the backing.

I agree with okie about the weight of the fabric. Do you know for a fact that it is heavier cotton fabric for quilting? Sometimes you can't tell in the pictures online and if you make a purchase and are not satisfied with it, will they accept a return and issue you a full refund? I would call the company and ask them how thick the fabric is. If it's too thick I would pass on the purchase. It won't work well if you quilt with it. Keep us informed if you buy from them and what your fabric quality is when you get it home.

Haha Thats so funny you would say that. I ALWAYS try to buy atleast 3 yds of fabrics. It just seems like no matter what pattern you choose to work with (I'm talking about quilts) 3 yds is always enough, and then some. I'm so glad there's others that think like me :)

I would buy at least 2 yds of each. I like to make quilts and would hate to have this beautiful fabric and only a FQ of each!!!

Same here. At that price I'd rather have a little extra than run short. Or decide which you'd like for borders and backing and get extra of that, then at least a yard of each of the others.
I agree with ghostrider. Get more of the one you think you would like to be a main fabric, border or backing. Then at least a yard of the others.

Buying over the internet is tricky. You don't know the quality of your fabric. (Here I want to mention, Keepsake Quilting, has realy good fabric quality).

Usualy my rule is, if you like it, buy 1 yard. Should you realy like it buy 3 yards.

I usually buy 5 yards of something when I'm not sure what I will do with it.

If you want it to be a "feature fabric" (which to me is): If I LOVE it - I'll buy from 3 to 6 yards. If I'm just going to use it as stash building, I will get anything from a FQ to one or two yards. It depends a lot on how many things it may work with, how good it's priced, what the quality is like.

At that price, I'd make sure it's got a decent quality. Don't build a stash of real thin material.
