How much fabric do you really have???

I probably have 3,000 yards, too. I will be selling more batik after I get it folded and yardage counted. I hope to end up with just 2,000 yards of stash when I'm finished! As long as I have room, I seem to acquire more!!

GUILTY. Lord knows how much fabric I have and I keep buying more. Just started quilting, so I look forward to using up alot of it. If I could just stop buying it, I might catch up. But I doubt it.

A fellow addict! I easily have that. And I still look at fabric ads and drool over the pictures from my online sources. I just cut into one of my favorites yesterday, just a little piece, to make a quilted postcard for my SIL and it was painful. That's just dumb on my part. She is going to love the little "quilt" and that is what I buy fabric for. Is there any hope?

I do buy a couple already made kits if they really catch my eye. But for the most part, I make up my own kits from fabrics that I like. My stash is teeny weeny compared to some, but I do go to my stash for some things. I love fabric!!

I've had a darn good stash with 20+ yrs of quilting but nothing near that !
I have some kits that are still on the shelf, and I remind myself of that when I'm tempted to buy a new one. I've given much of my older stash to our guild & bee for Linus quilts, to our elem school, church youth, Girl Scouts etc ... Maybe doing that would help you to clear out fabrics & patterns you won't ever use. I know that it really helped me to "clean house" and to focus on fabrics & patterns I still like and will use. When there's too much stash, it just becomes overwhelming both physically and mentally ...
Sounds like you could have some great sales here, no doubt you'd have some eager buyers ! :)
