How much material do I ned for binding?
#11
1 yard of of 2.5 inch strips willl yeild 16 strips. It takes about 9 strips to bind a queen. Depending on the size. If I have strips left over I use it for strip quilting or add it to binding for another quilt.
I do enjoy binding with striped material. Its different look.
