    my lqs gives 10% off even sales prices if you finish the bolt. i'm afraid to tell you how i know that, but i know it REALLY well... if it is what i think of as a basic, something i can see as versatile, i get 3-4 yards, if not, and i need it but don't love it, a yard and i still walk out with 3-4 fat quarters every time i go to the store....they are like the chocolate at the grocery check out, can't leave without a couple!

    Would it make a good back for a quilt? At that price i would buy 6 yards, if i could use it for a back sometime! Deenie
