I also have Topaz 30 and I use mine for quilting and embroidery, I have quilt designer 11 and use that for sewing and I would not part with either of them

I just bought a Diamond Deluxe. I kept my Designer SE. I paid $7200 plus tax. This came with a life time of free lessons. I already had 5D software. I LOVE it. The tension control is worth every penny along with the thread cutter.

Had to look this up, just out of curiousity and found this one listed on sale for $5000 (factory repacked?)http://www.acesewvac.com/husqvarna-s...FVPftgodXyCjXA. Never knew sewing/embroidery machines could cost upwards of 10K, makes a longarm seem reasonable.

    Default secret prices??

After trying to find prices for a Pfaff online, I had to start calling dealers. The difference is astounding!! Two places, one within 50 miles, one in another state, about $300 difference for the Ambition 1.0 or 1.5. And the distant dealer is not supposed to ship out of state?? Really? Craziness....

I think it was 36-48 months same as cash financing.....

I have the Rose and the D1.....and I love both of these machines....the extra large hoop is what appeals to me for the Daimond...not sure that justifys the expense...

anyway good luck...I really love my vikings.
That's why I went with the Ruby; there is only one larger hoop that the Ruby can't handle; yet. They just came up with a bigger endless hoop and it also fits the Ruby. I'm going to pick it up today. I paid alot less for the Ruby and then just got my 5D Pro last month

Thank you. I don't know why all LQS/dealers can't do the same thing. Lets face it; when you are ready to buy seeing the price posted online isn't going to stop you. I also like how they link you to Viking so you can get more info on the machine. I have the Viking #1 (up for sale) the Ruby, the mega quilter and my next one will be a serger, maybe next yr if things go right. My viking teacher even puts links in her emails when she sends them each month for our month embroidery club to Viking to get our free monthly designs that Viking gives out. I'm new and want all the help/resources I can get.

That is a horrible price for used. I bought mine brand new a year ago, right after the Viking Convention where the DDD (Designer Diamond Deluxe) was unveiled. I bought mine from my local quilt shop that is a Viking Dealer at end of May. Mine was $9999 and with it came a beautiful chair from Viking on wheels with the Husqvarna Viking embroidered on chair back, 20% off at Myembroideries.com for about 3 months, and the big 5D Professional box of software. Besides all of this of course is local support from the shop including classes and free embroidery club membership. I do not know what today's price is for a brand new one. ALSO, the Viking Designer Diamond DeLuxe is now top of the line and replaced the Designer Diamond. One new feature is the Stitch Proportioning System.

    Oh, and I love mine!
