and As Ye Sew, So Shall Ye Rip (LOL). I recently found a cute little applique design that has the GRIM RIPPER on it. My seam ripper is my best friend when I sew or quilt so don't feel bad!

I agree calling them learning opportunities is a positive expression of our experiences.

I hate it when I sew two blocks together only to find out that one was rotated the wrong way, rip it out and re-sew it the right way, and then realize I had actually sewed it correctly the first time. So I had to rip it again and re-sew it the way it was to begin with. Ugh, and I've done that more than once. Wish I would learn from some of my mistakes!

IMO, anyone who says, or thinks, they don't make mistakes are fibbing!

LOL, Daily! A quilt I recently completed comes to mind--I had put together a block wrong spent the time to pick it out so I could start from scratch--wouldn't you know I repeated the mistake and had to pick it out again, called it a day after that.

[QUOTE=EllieGirl;6343166]I measure, and measure, I lay the design out on my design wall. Then when I start piecing everything together it doesn't turn out the way I envisioned it in my mind!! Then I'm ripping![/QUOTE

Wouldn't it be smaller numbers if the question was '' When do you have a perfect day ?'' Hugs
