How many minutes in a day? Mistakes? I don't understand the word.

How often do I make mistakes?! Every day!! I have learned at this old age to just keep going. Right now I am basting a quilt sandwich and realize how "not squared" it is. I refuse to go back and rip. Once that baby is quilted and washed it will be fine. It will not be used as a wall hanging or even spread out on a bed. It will be folded up ready to cuddle up in on a recliner or sofa.

Every time I sit at my machine, I make some kind of a mistake, and I have been quilting since the mid 70's!!!

Right now I am trying to "fix" a binding I cut wrong putting the ends together. This was after I measured and pinned and checked and sewed and checked again. Is that the kind of mistake you mean? Then the answer is a lot of times!!!

Mistakes? Do you mean like cutting fabric and after it's all cut, discovering there isn't enough? Or maybe using the fabric set aside for binding, for something else? Or do you mean stuff like sewing the right side of one block, to the wrong side of another . . . and ripping it out, only to sew it wrong again? Or are you referring to stuff like looking away, for just a SECOND, while sewing? I'd rather not answer the question . . . .
