Default How Often Do You Make Mistakes?

I measure, and measure, I lay the design out on my design wall. Then when I start piecing everything together it doesn't turn out the way I envisioned it in my mind!! Then I'm ripping!

It doesn't sound like you are making mistakes, it sounds like your "artistic vision" is not achieved in the real quilt. This is my life. I can picture it in my head, I draw & color, I drop in fabrics in EQ7. Then I actually piece it and yech! Normally I think I've just been looking at it too long. I don't rip, I just put it away for a few days. Usually looks better after a rest (both me and the quilt).

More often than I like to admit. Most of the time I just call them design choices.

Probably more often than I do things correctly.

If I didn't make mistakes it would mean I wasn't sewing anything. That is why I have four rippers laying there handy.

I make mistakes every time I sew. If I didn't, I would be wondering what was wrong with me. LOL!!

Amen, Sister! Of course, we could call them learning opportunities.
