How often do you reorganize your sewing room?

Hahahaha you should see my sewing room right now! I think I need to clean perhaps today cause I almost can't see my cutting table. my downfall are scrappy quilts - cause Katie Bar the Door ALL the fabric somehow gets strewn all over! Come on over and help.

My sewing room is three fourths of my basement, so it is a very large area. I try to keep it relatively organized all of the time. But I have the bad habit of pulling fabric out of the closet and stacking it on the cutting table for auditioning, and then not putting it away. So when the stack threatens to spill onto the floor, it gets cleaned up. But my usual plan is to clean and organize after each project is completed and before the next one is started. I find that I don't get anything accomplished if the room is in shambles, so I try to keep it clean.

When it starts to get embarrassing!
My sewing room is in what used to be the living room, so it's the very first thing people see when they come over. I don't keep it looking like a showroom or anything, but I try to keep it looking at least like a productive space and not like a quilting store exploded in there. Right now it's getting towards the "exploded" look, I'm actually planning on spending some time in there cleaning up this weekend.
I'd love to get myself set up so that I could have a couple people over for a "sew date" and have space for them to set up their own machines. A couple ladies at work have been making noises about starting a sewing club so I want to have space so I can host sometimes!
