How often do you reorganize your sewing room?

Unfortunately I probably do not do it often enough. That said, since we downsized to an apt. my "sewing room" is part of my bedroom, so despite my good intentions of putting away things as I use them, after looking for fabrics from my stash for a project, etc., I do not do it often enough. Usually, when it gets "deep" and I can't find anything (which happens a lot) I try to make a dent, especially when I can't stand the clutter any longer. I do wish I were more organized, however, trying to put 10 pounds of "stuff" into a 5 lb. box is not easy and sometimes I believe not possible.

Would be happy to clean a sewing room, but my 6-8 sq feet doesn't leave much place to organize, so I pile UP and under. Would love a room and thought about a building but then would have to pay for running electric, ACing it and it gets hot and very humid in Central FL so would have to run it most of the time and that is not cheap.
Marge D we have the same problem, lack of space.

I don't have a sewing room... I use the dining room table so if we have company I have to clean up. I do store my goodies in a guest room, which I keep neat and tidy. Believe it or not, we actually get guests often.

People enter my house through my sewing room, so it has to be kept in some order. Easter weekend my DGD helped me clean and straighten. It looks better right now than it has in a long time. She doesn't care to sew but she is a very good organizer. My son was in the Army, so I have never been able to spend more than a few days at a time with her. He retired in Feb, and is now living only 4 hours away.
