    If you go to the search on this site and put in How to price a quilt there are several replies. I forget most of the time that there is SOOOOOOOOOO much info in the search. Hope this helps.

    Don't forget that if you use a "designer" quilt pattern the designer has their hand stuck out for a cut of the proceeds and plan accordingly. (never mind that you already PAID for the cost of the pattern). Some of them even want you to ask permission before you even sell the quilt.

    Best bet is to use traditional blocks in traditional settings or make up your own, then you can sell with impunity.

    Good point . . .and remember . . .there's also depreciation/repairs on your sewing machine/quilting machine, which will need replacing when it's been worn out.
