    That was a great idea Cathy...I did go back and look at your finished photo of your wonderful GW. I am still deciding what fabric to use for backing since the top is so busy.

    I quilted my own. I really played with the blocks, practicing my fmq skills and doing whatever custom design seemed to fit each block. Then, for the stripes, I divided them into sets of 2 or three and chose a design for each set. https://www.pinterest.com/pin/535083999474672298/

    I think simple quilting that doesn’t add will be best.

    I quilted an all over design on mine. It’s a busy quilt. I used scraps and honestly I felt simple was best in my case.
