How to quilt this ... ideas?
I love making quilt blocks with border strip fabric ... but now I am at a loss how to quilt this!
Any ideas? I'm pretty confident in lots of methods, so feel free (except hand quilting LOL)
Thanks all,

Beautiful Quilt! Figuring out how to quilt it is always a challenge for me. I think the 1st thing I would do is stitch in every single ditch to stabilize the quilt. Then I would do some simple ruler work in the black areas. You don't want to quilt in the purple areas because the quilting would simply be lost. Because the focal fabric is straight lines, I would chose a more curvy ruler pattern to compliment the design

I have no quilting design ideas-I just wanted to tell you how beautiful your quilt is. Love your flower fabric. Good luck on your decision and I know someone on this board will get you great ideas.

It would depend on how good of a quilter that you are. Do you want your stitches to show, to be a major part of the design? Or do you want it all to blend in? When I am trying to figure out a quilting design, I have to draw it out with pencil and paper, then I like to do practice sandwiches to work out the rhythm of the design. BTW, I have discovered that these practice sandwiches make great little cleaning rags, soft cotton, batting, certainly better than having my practice pieces pile up in the corner of my sewing room or simply to go into the trash.

Pretty top! I think you could quilt something different in each block to highlight each design. I would quilt in dark thread in the sashing/background a simple background fill since you won’t see it anyway.
