    Default How is this quilt made?

    I love this pattern but do not know how it is done. Any help will be greatly appreciate.

    Looks like an Irish Chain layout to me. Made with 2 blocks. One is a Dresden block on a white/light background and the other is the chain block.
    That's what I see. I'm sure others will pop by and help you.

    I'd guess it was done with (needle turn) applique on the polka dot background.

    Looks like there is a ring of small yo yos around the center of the Dresden plate. Cute quilt!

    these are the two blocks that I see. the other posters are right about the appliqued dresden and the Irish chain-like block.

    The circles look like short Dresden Plates with yoyos sewn on to cover the raw inner circle of the Dresden Plates. I think Lori Holt has templates for them?
