How to Quilt My Flock?

How to Quilt My Flock?
Another How Do I Quilt This question.....
I'm considering feathers in the black blocks...(Get it...flying geese...feathers?) but have no idea what or even if to do anything in the geese themselves.
And then there are all those piano keys...
Any ideas?

My first thought with the way the flying geese are pieced in an over and under fashion, it might be cool to weave your feathers over and under from one dark block to the next. As far as the geese themselves, some quilting to reinforce their directional procession, straight lines in contrast to your feathers. On your piano keys, I’m leaning toward simple piano key type quilting in sync with the direction of the border piecing. You could add some fill in between, but I thinks simple would be better...as there is already lots going on with your colour gradations.. Just my two cents. Lovely quilt!
