I just wanted Sue to be doing something and she is playing scorror, having tea, raking leaves, singing in church, picking flowers, handful of balloons, running from bees, walking her dog and enjoying a butterfly..

I just drew with a permanent marker and colored with crayons, ironed fast the crayons. I placed Sue in a way to have her doing these activities..

    I have trouble sizing pics.

Cute quilt, I agree with many of the suggestions for quilting around the Sue's and adding a fun border like balloons or ribbon.

I would echo-quilt several rows of stitching outside of the body shapes, spacing them further apart as they near the border (some will only be partial lines of stitching or, they can continue into the border). I have done this with my quilting group and it's very effective.

Nice! I haven't made one myself, I keep thinking someday, I really like the idea of the cross hatching in the background.
