I can understand your reluctance to work on GFG right now. Just put it aside for awhile and then pick it back up. Your colors are pretty and strong and the gray makes the flowers pop. You can always pick it up later andd work on it for awhile and put it aside again if you need to.

I like yours...never would have thought of light gray, but it obviously works! Put it away for a little while - OR - show it to some non-quilters, who will 'oooohhh' and 'aahhh' over it, and you'll fall in love again.

Put it away! One day, you will think about it again, take it out and work on it some more, and it will be done! Sometimes things make us tired after we've worked on them for a while. Take a break!

Take a break. Do something else, not necessarily quilting.

Could it be that the arrangement of the flowers is too straight in a line? I saw one of these yesterday that was finished and the flowers were offset so that the bottom of one flower was even with the center of the next flower. I believe they were separated by one solid-colored hexagon. This made the outside edge wavy rather than straight across. It was beautiful and I found the non-symetry on the edges to be very attractive.

I think it's beautiful. I love the colors with the grey. I think you should put it away for a while. I think you might be getting bored with it. Maybe you could stop and do a small project to break it up.

I, too, think it's beautiful! And yes... I fall out of love with things way more than I should, thus my 4375 trillion UFO's.
