How would you finish quilting this?

You've done a great job FMQ so far so you could try a short section and see how you like it OR I have a piece of clear tablecloth plastic that I lay on top of my quilt. I use a dry erase marker to try out quilt designs on it to preview designs. My feather spines sometimes don't look the greatest so I would want mine to be just inside the white so they would be less noticeable.

The outside edge of the dark border is about the middle of the border strips. Do you think I could use that as a spine, and quilt feathers with one side in the wide white border, and the other side crossing both the blue and white narrow borders? I thought of that but I'm not sure it would look ok.

I finally made a decision on the border for this quilt - more feathers. Thanks for all your suggestions. Next time, I'll have the border (and everything else) figured out before I start quilting - because I liked some of the ideas, but where I ended the background made it impossible.
I posted a pic of the finished quilt in the Pictures area.

Your quilt is beautiful! How about doing feathers again on the border? Use the side of the blue strip as the feather spine on either side of the blue. I can't quite see if you have room to do both halves of the feather or just one half outside of the blue. Fill the blue strip with circles the same width as the blue strip? Kind of like a row of pebbles?
