how would you quilt flying geese?
I have a row of flying geese that goes around the quilt next to the boarders, I am doing FMQ, I was wondering how you would quilt them, any ideas would be helpful..... Thank you

let me see if I can find a pic of mine-I did the straight lines by regular stitching with the least moving of the quilt and then did FMQing the wiggly lines on the next go around. it was just easier and looked good too.
The churn dash has curved lines like another quilter mentioned above. easy to do also.

I do not know if this is something that you would like, but I saw Flying Geese done with the triangles echoed. As I have not done very much free motion quilting, I can't tell if it would lend itself to that. I just thought it was so pretty.

Take a look at this quilt by my internet friend Kathy at Tamarack Shack, the curves in the quilt points are easy and look nice. - http://tamarackshack.blogspot.com/20...oon-quilt.html
