    I agree with Tartan. It is such a lovely pieced quilt I like the blocks to be the star and not have the quilting overpower the piecing. Put some feathers in the blue tonal on the outside edge of your piecing. GREAT Job !!

    It is gorgeous and I'm sure the baby and the parents will love it. So many bright colors and I love the sashing around each block. Show us when you're finished, please!

    If you wanted to use the quilt for practice, you could do a little bit custom. I like the SID and design in the kalaidoscope blocks idea. You could put feathers in the outer white and blue triangle areas, and do a ribbon candy in the sashing.

    Oh, I love this quilt....it is really beautiful! I can't help on the quilting part...that has to be your choice.
