    Here's a thought: instead of assuming that this lady does not intend to pay, why not just assume that she will, in fact, be a paying student like all the rest? Follow the same procedure that you do with the rest of the students.

    Some of you wanted to know how this ended. The non-quilter who wanted to come to my class decided not to come, so the issue of her quilting friend coming with her became a non-issue.

    I appreciate all the input and have a response ready if the situation ever occurs again.

    Over in UK we could use the words not insured for a none quilter or health and safety with a wonderer about not safe.
