I bought the Singer Quantum Stylist 9960 from HSN about 2 months ago. Lots of features, lots to learn. It was special for the day. $500 was the price.

i bought my first machine on QVC..it worked like a champ.i leave it at quilt group for anyone to use, that can't haul thier machine, because of the weight.
if the return policy is good, it is worth a try.
even pricey machines can be lemons..

They also did the premiere of the new singer Quartet on that date. It is the 4 in 1 machine. That was the one I was talking about. I bought it and just love it!! Has a 6 y 10 embroidery field and a big improvement on the older Futuras which I have the Ce250 Futura I bought 3 yrs ago. I have enjoyed that machine as well but this new one is a big improvement.

Actually I have not tried that part of the machine out. I really bought it for the embroidery and quilting capabilities. I have 2 sergers so doubt that I will ever try using that attachment. As far as the rest of the machine I REALLY love it!! It is a great improvement over the previous Futura embroidery machines although I have to say I own a Futura CE250 and have really enjoyed that machine but some users have had difficulty with threading the previous Futuras. They changed the threading on this quartet and has a new hoop system. Larger hoop too. The machine is HUGE!!!! I love having the 6 by 10 embroidery field.
