Did you all see the Singer on HSN? It may be sold out by now but it was 799 no shipping with easy payments. Looked like a nice machine, embroidery, sewing with a serger option.

Yeah, I saw that this morning while I was getting ready for work. Looked nice, I wish that I could see more of the "cutter"

Good Morning Ladies. This is the same machine I purchased and returned. I was interested in the embroidery functions and wrote a review here about it last month. If your interested you can find it under the topic New Singer Futura SES2000.

The "cutter" is a mimic for a serger. What it does is cut the fabric as your stitching like a serger but uses a zigzag stitch to finish the edges.

ooops. My Bad. That's what I get for making assumptions. This is a different model. Sorry. But it does use the same software. (just watched the video on HSN)

I bought a Singer years ago on HSN and it's still sews like a dream. It sews quieter then a Bernina and the stitches are perfect. Singer doesn't make this model anymore I guess because it was too good. LOL

I just caught the tail end of the demo last night and didnt see the serger part or the hoop size. I thought that 799 was a decent price. If you can return it until after Christmas, no harm, no foul if it is not as advertized.

I ordered a singer L-500 and was sorely disappointed. Sucker ran like a tractor and skipped stitches. Not a good match. I bet they have to fine-tune the ones that the demo gal uses. DO love the HSN return policy though!

I saw it and bought it. I am real excited about it. I have the Futura CE250 embroidery machine and love it.This will have the 6 by 10 inch hoop and alot of extra features. It is called the Futura Quartet 4 in 1. I have done real well with my first futura so I hope I will not have much problem with this. They all have a bit of a learning curve. I am supposed to get it by November 1. Has anyone else bought the new Singer Quartet?
