My wonderful Hubster said I could buy myself a new machine! He even agreed to let me buy a Husqvarna! I was looking at the H class embroidery machine and asked him "It's 1500...how MUCH do you love me?" He said "If that is the machine you want, then get it."
Now, I wish our priority wasn't a new car...I'd be embroidering my brains out by now!! (He definitely earned some Hubster brownie points despite it!)
    :)

When I got my first "good" machine I gave nubby 3 sets of numbers..low, middle and the embroidery high..thinking he would go for the middle after showing how high I really could go. He told me to go for the best..that I most likely would not get a second crack, so I did.

I'm in the same boat as you. DH said goahead & but the HQ 16 sit down. But I just can't now. Our DD who graduated from law school in May had to come back home(NO JOB). So we had to get a nother car so she can at least try to find something. Oh well soon?

I know your hubby said you can get the machine of your dreams, but if you need a new car, I would say get the car first. This would be my priority, NEEDS over WANTS, my opinion.

I love my Vikings. I would check with the dealer to see if they have any used machines. A better price, and if you purchase form a dealer often warranty and lessons are included.
