I was cutting some 21/2 in strips and my husband asked if they were "fat dimes". I told him that I was impressed that he knew the "lingo".

I went shopping at Joann's this morning. I was in line next to guy at in the "loooong" line by the cutting table. He was waiting patiently while his wife looked for more fabric. He told me all about the camouflage material he was holding and the wonderful blanket and several other items his wife had made for him.

My husband encouraged me to buy my Bernina 380 this week. He went to the sewing center and quilt shop with me today. He even helped me choose the background fabric for a quilt. Then this evening he told me he wished he could help me with my OBW hexagons. He's a keeper.

They're messin with ya...or they're feeling guilty about something! I wouldn't trust 'em!
Well, now, you may have something there. But I don't look for my hubby to ever comment about any of my crafting.

I saw this too. She is remaking the daughter's dress for her father's wedding. I had just gotten my featherweight and was so excited to see this episode and recognize her machine.

I think it's interesting that my husband is supportive of my sewing but never did care for me learning to weld.

I wanted to take an auto mechanics course and my husband thought I was crazy. I've always been more mechanical than him but I guess this was too much. He was always happy for me to put together the toys at Christmas, light the hot water heater, and set up our computers and the wireless network, though.
